If you were one of those kids tagged with the moniker “Reds,” “Super Squirrel,” or “Mr. Peanut,” then you know just how embarrassing and annoying nicknames can be. (We certainly do.) But now that we’re fully grown and, um, well-adjusted, we know nicknames can be funny, endearing –- and even helpful.
