Trim your tummy, not your bank account.

Believe it or not, everyone doesn’t look forward to summertime. Couch potatoes, desk jockeys and exer-phobes everywhere are stressing about their summer debuts on the beach and in the pool. OK, we can’t all have killer bodies and rock hard abs. But we all have to start somewhere. And that doesn’t mean breaking the bank to reach your sometimes unrealistic fitness goals. According to go frugal you can burn the calories without burning through your savings.

We couldn’t agree more. Treadmills, gym memberships and fad diets all add up. And they won’t necessarily help you keep the poundage off. Get creative with your workout. Enjoy the scenery on your street by going for a bike ride. Walk or jog the local park a few times a week. Use some household objects as free weights (Aunt Betty’s ceramic bust – ok, maybe not that). Say goodbye and good luck to Sven, the personal trainer. We don’t think you need your bank account to exercise your right to a good body this summer.
